Quilt Raffle Winners!

Congratulations to Mike Maas (Puppy Raiser) of Sherman Oaks and Nancy Culver of Valley Glen who were the winners of the 2008 raffled Quilts. The winning tickets were pulled at the Puppy Raiser Christmas Party Dec 13, 2008.

More Winnings! Custom Motorcycle

The winning raffle ticket for the custom built motorcycle was pulled at the Annual 28th William W. Winpisinger Charity Banquet in Las Vegas on Saturday November 22, 2008.

Fire News

Thank you for all your help and concern with the dog evacuation due to the fires in the Sylmar in November. Our facility and animals are fine, safe & have been returned to GDA. Our heartfelt thanks to all who took dogs into their homes for the weekend, or were there offering to lend a hand in any way. You are our heroes!!!

In an effort to keep our supporters up-to-date on current issues involving estate planning and planned giving, Guide Dogs of America has added a "Gift Planning" page to our web site. This page offers information about how to "Build Your Gift", receive e-Brochures on topics including gift annuities, year-end giving, estate planning starters, and read informative monthly feature articles on timely topics such as the new charitable IRA legislation, retirement planning, charitable gift annuities, and endowments.
