 RIDES FOR GUIDES: Our 5th Annual 'Rides for Guides' took place on May 18, 2008 here at our location in Sylmar. Under record-breaking heat, a record number of riders (nearly 650!) on more than 400 motorcycles raised a record breaking amount of money for this event for GDA! September 27, 2008 at the Petersen Automotive Museum
 Start your engines and mark your calendars for our next Partner's Awards Dinner at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Beverly Hills. We will be honoring the Silverman Family (Larry, Pam & Debbie) who organize the annual Simi Boots & Slippers Square Dance benefiting GDA as well as puppy raisers Joan & Ron Shaw and Cherry Teter.
 In the past 2 years, our net proceeds from these fun dinners at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library have been $140,000.00. We will also be celebrating our 60th anniversary. A reception and silent auction will begin our evening, followed by dinner, live auction, program and dancing to follow! For local hotel information, Click here.

2008 Quilt Raffle now open!
For our 60th Anniversary in 2008 the Orange County Quilt Guild members worked their creative handiwork from a pattern by Jane Tenorio-Coscarelli (with her permission) and made TWO quilts for Guide Dogs of America. The OC Quilters donated these treasured works to GDA with the hope to raise $5,000 or more for this charity!
