Project: Top Shelf
Event To Benefit Guide Dogs of America

June 16th from 6:30 to 9:00pm
At Jags restaurant
5980 West Chester Rd.,
West Chester, Ohio 45069

Since it's founding 60 years ago in 1948 by Joseph Jones, Jr., a retired member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), Guide Dogs of America (GDA) has graduated over 2500 guide dog teams throughout the United States and Canada. GDA receives no funding from any government agencies. All donations come from individuals, businesses, clubs and organizations, wills and bequests.

These organizations hold a variety of fundraisers to raise money for GDA. The most popular are golf outings and motorcycle rides, including the very popular, Hawgs for Dogs. The idea for a different type of event came from John Bell of Bell's House of Tobacco. PROJECT: TOP SHELF grew from that idea to include a restaurant (Jags in West Chester, Ohio) and an evening of camaraderie to raise money for GDA. This is the first time that an event of this type has been done to benefit GDA.

PROJECT: TOP SHELF promises to be a great evening to enjoy the company of fellow aficionados; fine cigars, great food, libations and raise money to help the visually impaired. The event is limited to the first 50 tickets purchased for a $300.00 donation. GDA is a 501 (c)(3) charity and 100% of the price of your ticket goes to GDA and is tax deductible. Tickets will not be available at the door.

What do you get for your $300.00 donation?
You will receive a 20 count box of cigars in a very unique gift package and a special commemorative gift. The box will include Cigars from high end cigar manufacturers as well as premium cigars from Bell's own line of fine cigars. The Cigars alone would be worth the price of admission! When you arrive at Jags, a luxurious fine dining restaurant, you will receive your custom box of cigars and an opportunity to taste several types of spirits, wines, and beers. Jags will also serve an array of their delicious appetizers. The President of GDA and GDA Trainers will be on hand to answer your questions.

During the evening cigars will be provided so that your custom boxes may remain unopened to enjoy later. There will also be drawings for several door prizes that include a piece of Waterford Crystal, Teeth Whitening from Dr. Alex Della Bella, 2 round trip tickets from Northwest Airlines good to any city in the US serviced by NWA, Cigars and more. Only ticket holders will be eligible for the door prizes. Don't forget, only 50 tickets will be sold.

Tickets can be purchased online below, at Bell's House of Tobacco or Jags Steak & Seafood using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash or checks made payable to GDA. To reserve your place at this unique event please purchase your ticket early. We look forward to seeing you!
